Although my heart will always remain in Asia, for years I’ve wanted to open a restaurant in London and earlier this year I finally found a great location in the heart of bustling Soho that will be the home to my next culinary adventure – the House of Ho where we will introduce modern Vietnamese food and flavours that this city hasn’t experienced or tasted before.

Part of me will always remain in Asia however and many of you know that for the past ten years my restaurant in Hanoi has served as a cooking and restaurant vocational school for victims of human trafficking. With increased cooperation with Blue Dragon NGO in Hanoi, my Asia establishment will continue to exist and increase its support for this good cause and I thank you all for your past and continued support. Unfortunately I can’t be on two continents at the same time and I have leased out my restaurant in Ho Chi Minh which is now under new management.

For now, my focus and energy is London. At the House of Ho, I look forward to introducing some old favorites such as grilled lemongrass marinated chicken wings from the streets of Hanoi to new dishes which I have especially created for House of Ho. These dishes blend the best of traditional Vietnamese ingredients cooked with a new modern twist like our lacquered pousin, our sous organic free range egg banh cuon while continuing to refine my signature dishes such as tamarind glazed crab cakes and seven spice smoked duck breast served with black sticky rice.
